All camping accommodations are pre-arranged and considered part of the registration fee. Participants can make arrangements on their own for a room or cabin on certain days at the overnight camping location.

Shuttle Day – June 8

Sponsor: Danbury Casino

Shuttle from Danbury to Cable, WI

You, your boat, and gear will be shuttled from the Danbury to Cable. The car will stay parked in the Casino parking lot. Departure from the Casino will be 1:00 PM sharp, and it’s about 1.5 hour drive from Danbury to Cable. Camping that evening will be on the Town Hall Grounds in Cable, no other accommodations are available.

A room block is available for Friday, June 7th at the Danbury Casino for those that plan to drive in the night before departure. The rooms in the Casino are Double Queen Standard Non Smoking Rooms and the rate is $88.00 plus tax for that Friday night. Call for the room block held for SCRA, 1-800-238-8946.

RD 1 – June 9

Phillipi Bridge Landing (in Cable) to Seeley = 9.5 miles

Camping will be on the grounds of the Lenroot Lodge. Participants can make arrangements with the Lodge for a room (each is two levels, one bedroom in the loft, with a second bed down, one bath). Currently all rooms held, call and ask for “SCRA Paddle” $79.95/room rate for two, 715-634-5660.

RD 2 – June 10

Lenroot Lodge to Hayward = 13.5 miles

Camping will be on the grounds of the Comfort Suites. Participants can make arrangements for a room if they choose.  Room block under “SCRA Paddle” at the Comfort suites, call (715) 634-0700, $79 per room.

RD 3 – June 11

Hayward to N. Springbrook Landing = 13.5 miles

Camping will be at Camp Namekagon, a private campground. Participants can make arrangements for one of a few cabins on site if they choose, some of which are bunk style that can be shared. Call 715-766-2277 to get the rates and further information.

RD 4 – June 12

N. Springbrook to Trego = 15 miles 

Camping will be at the Log Cabin Resort, a private campground. Participants can make arrangements for one of a few cabins on site if they choose, some of which are bunk style that can be shared. Call 715-635-2959 to get the rates and further information.

RD 5 – June 13

Trego to Howell Landing (overnight landing) = 20 miles (optional shuttle to County K Landing start = 14 miles) 

Camping will be at Howell Landing. This is the last night of the paddle, no optional arrangements are available.

RD 6 – June 14

Howell to Riverside = 21 miles

Take out will be at the Riverside Landing. A shuttle will take you back to your car, which you will drive to load your gear and boats. Plan your own adventure in the area, there is a lot to do, so plan to stay and play!

Dinner (OYO): endless opportunities, but sadly, you’ll have completed the 2019 Paddle, stop and enjoy local establishments for your dining pleasure.
