Calling all middle school, high school, college, and university students!
Join your peers for the 2nd Annual St. Croix Youth Summit; a day of youth empowerment.
Sign your students up for a one-day workshop with keynote speakers, exhibitors, films, hands-on learning and discussion designed to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders!
Gather – Gather together as a collective and youthful voice for science and for the future of the St. Croix River watershed
Learn – Learn from professional conservation leaders about the environmental threats to the St. Croix River watershed and your community
Discuss – Discuss environmental cause and effect, implications and solutions with your peers
Do – Take what you learn from the St. Croix Summit and put it into action in your school and community
Summit Schedule
9am – Welcome and Keynote by the Ian Karl and the Northwest Passage “In a New Light” program
10:15am – Citizen Science workshops featuring SciGirls
11:45am – Brown Bag Lunch Conservation Careers Panel
12:30pm – Citizen Science workshops
1:45pm – Closing remarks by Julie Galonska, Superintendent, St. Croix National Scenic Riverway (National Park Service)
