The project seeks to address motorized and non-motorized boat use, parking and wayfinding, day uses (e.g. fishing, picnicking, walking, etc.), natural resource protection, messaging and interpretation.

Public input is vital to the success of this planning and design process. “The National Park Service is interested in knowing if our ideas are on the right track or missing important concepts,” said Julie Galonska, St. Croix National Scenic Riverway superintendent. At the meeting, the Park will provide a brief presentation describing the draft options, followed by an opportunity for the public to ask questions and share perspectives in an open house format.
If you would like to provide input about the draft options, but are unable to attend the public meeting, the options will be available for review and comment between October 18 and November 18, 2019. Beginning October 18, visit the project website at: http://parkplanning.nps.gov/
