Making the Most of Your Land Field Tour & Workshop
September 14 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pmFREE
Join us for a morning field tour, led by property owner Betty Wilkens, to learn more about how you can make the most of your property! The Wilkens family has spent the past decade restoring an old gravel pit into native prairie, wetland, forest and oak savanna wildlife habitat. Betty will share how her family found success and the challenges they faced along the way. Local professionals will also be present to share programs, resources and opportunities that can help you achieve your own management, restoration or conservation goals for your land.
Please come dressed for the weather and prepared to be walking outside – water, boots, bug spray/sunscreen and layers.
