2021 First Day Hike

Start your New Year on the right foot with some fresh air and a winter walk with the St. Croix River Association and Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy. Enjoy a brisk hike with some stops to enjoy the scenery and interpretation of the landscape on the beautiful Standing Cedars property.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

For the protection of all participants, facemasks are required. Please bring your own facemask. If you are feeling sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home and refrain from participating.

We are monitoring Wisconsin and Minnesota’s current COVID-19 guidelines for public outdoor events and venues. We will communicate any changes to this event here on our website, social media, and via email to those who have already registered. Please stay tuned, and thank you for your understanding.

Please note: A limited number of snowshoes are available for participant use. If you would like to use snowshoes, they must be requested ahead of time by contacting SCRA Naturalist Jeremiah Walters
